Location
Rotherham alongside its neighbour Sheffield is centrally located in England, and is the heart of special steel making in the UK. The region is renowned for heavy engineering and cutlery manufacture. Rotherham is dissected by the M1 motorway, the main arterial motorway connecting the north and south of England, and therefore benefits from easy access to all UK regions and seaports. This access provides RCES with excellent facilities for importing of raw materials and exporting of finished goods. Applications
RCES ferro alloy powders are consumed in applications such as bulk powder mixes for the hard-facing industry, used in products such as (overlay) steel plate, pipes and rolls, and provide an excellent wear resistant overlay.
